At the MAMbo conference hall, the presentation of Being There. Oltre il giardino by Claudia Losi, curated by Leonardo Regano and published by Viaindustriae Publishing, Foligno (2022).

The artist will engage in conversation with Leonardo Regano (curator), Ugo Morelli (sociologist), and Lorenzo Balbi (MAMbo director).

The project Being There. Oltre il giardino—one of the winners of the Italian Council IX (MiC, 2020)—explores the physical, sensory, and cognitive relationship between humans and the places they inhabit. It delves into the body, memory, real and imagined journeys, and the vast time of landscapes.

Through the question "What is your idea of a natural place?", posed to a diverse audience of different ages, professions, and nationalities, Losi conducted an investigation that merges sociological-scientific language with artistic expression. The project weaves together multiple voices and reflections, including those of Alice Benessia, Giorgio Vallortigara, Ugo Morelli, and Gioia Laura Iannili, among many others.
